IdleClone

A browser-based 2D idle platformer inspired by the popular idle MMO IdleOn. Explore platformer zones, fight enemies, gather resources, complete quests, and grow your character, even when you're away!

Dev Note: This game was made in ~1 week for a game studio's application process. I went above and beyond to make a fully complete game. Includes AI-generated code as part of the project requirements, but no AI-generated art. Enjoy~

Features

• Fight & grow stronger — take on monsters across multiple zones and watch your numbers go up
• Mine, chop, craft — gather resources from the world for better gears
• Help the locals — take on quests from NPCs, earn rewards, and uncover the story
• Build your character — invest in permanent upgrades to help your journey
• Unlock skills and new class — become even stronger for combat
• Face the final boss — a brutal multi-phase showdown will challenge you
• Earn while you're gone — close the tab and come back to XP and loot waiting for you

Controls

• Left click — Move, interact, or target
• Left click & hold over dropped loot — collect items
• Click skill buttons — use Slash, Barrier, or Fireball
• Click potion slot — use equipped potion
